§ The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of EDUCATION (Mr. Herbert Fisher)The number of girls in grant-aided secondary schools in England and Wales on the 1st October, 1921, was 176,241, and of boys 184,374. The proportion of girls to boys was, approximately, 96 to 100.
