§ Mr. BALDWINThe total number of business names registered in England and Wales in accordance with the Registration of Business Names Act, 1916, which were effective on the 4th May is 152,335. The fees received during the financial year ending 31st March, 1922, amounted to £5,502 15s. 6d. The expenses during that period amounted to £8,906 11s. 7d. The answer to the last part of the question is in the affirmative.
