§ Sir H. GREENWOODThere is no armed guard of British troops in Dublin Castle. The military barrack adjoining the Castle is at present occupied by the Royal Irish Constabulary, and the Castle guard is furnished by that force. A military guard was furnished for a few 1528 days in the beginning of April, pending arrangements being made for supplying an adequate guard from the Royal Irish Constabulary.
