HC Deb 04 May 1922 vol 153 cc1524-5
50. Rear-Admiral ADAIR

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is aware of the facts which led up to the death of Mrs. W. J. Talbot, of Mount Talbot, County Roscommon, on 9th or 10th April; and, if so, will he state these facts and say what action the Government have taken in connection with them?

Sir H. GREENWOOD

The Provisional Government are investigating this matter, but have not yet completed their inquiries. Perhaps the hon. and gallant Member will kindly repeat the question on Thursday of next week?

Rear-Admiral ADAIR

I will repeat the question, and would point out that this outrage took place more than a month ago.
