Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe Constantinople quays, which are managed by a company, have not at any time been purchased, either by the Foreign Office or any other Government Department.

Gentleman aware that the terms of the alleged transaction, as set forth in this question, showing the price paid, the amount of the profits, and the purpose to which the profits have been devoted, associated with the names of Lord Grey and Lord Hardinge, are given in Colonel Repington's book?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINNo. I am not aware of what is contained in the book, but my information is what I have just given to the House.
