§ 99. Captain BOWYERasked the Minister of Pensions for what reasons widows of royal naval officers who served during the War, but who had previously retired, and, after being called up for the War, died as a result of their war services, are not allowed to claim an alternative pension; and, seeing that if the husband had been on the active list of the Royal Navy, the widow would be allowed to draw an alternative pension, will he speedily rectify this injustice?
