§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe total amount of the State contribution under the Unemployment Insurance Acts for the year ending 31st March, 1922, is approximately £6,200,000. In the case of the Unemployed Workers' Dependants' Act, which first came into operation early in November last, the corresponding amount is about £2,100,000.
