§ Mr. SHORTTAs I have already explained, the disbandment will take place gradually, as from the 31st instant, as the engagements of the patrols expire. The matter can be raised if an opportunity occurs, but if the required savings are to be effected the process of disbandment must be commenced as soon as possible.
