§ Mr. SHORTTWhenever information is obtainable as to illegal practices in clubs, whether in contravention of the law as to sale of intoxicating liquor or of the Regulations as to dangerous drugs or otherwise, the police are alert to take action. Convictions have been obtained in two recent cases.
