HC Deb 16 March 1922 vol 151 cc2356-7
27. Viscount CURZON

asked the Prime Minister whether any Turkish concentration is taking place to the north of Iraq; and, if so, if the matter is receiving the attention of His Majesty's Government?

Mr. CHURCHILL

The Noble Lord may rest assured that His Majesty's Government are fully alive to the aspect of the question to which he calls attention. I do not think that it would be in the public interest to make any further statement on the subject at the present juncture.

Sir J. D. REES

Where Arabian Iraq is meant, would it not be desirable to distinguish between them?
