REESasked the Prime Minister whether it is definitely and finally decided not to divert, in any circumstances, to the succour of foreign peoples, however afflicted, any portion of the produce of the taxes now collected with difficulty from the inhabitants of the United Kingdom for expenditure upon national requirements?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI stated the policy of the Government in answer to questions on Thursday last, and a discussion on the subject has now been arranged for Friday next. It would not, therefore, seem necessary that I should say more at this moment.
