HC Deb 09 March 1922 vol 151 c1476
49. Mr. WISE

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if the Government has consolidated the Belgian debt; and, if so, what are the terms?

Mr. YOUNG

The Government have agreed in principle with the Belgian Government that the Belgian debt to this country (other than the War debt, which is being taken over by Germany under the Treaty of Versailles) shall be consolidated, but the terms have not yet been settled.
