§ 7. Mr. A. WILLIAMSasked the Minister of Pensions why the arrears of pension due to William Victor Airey, No. 316905, late private Labour Corps, Identity No. 2/M.A./2409 from 27th July, 1921, to 11th February, 1922, amounting to £33 12s., have not been paid, in spite of many letters addressed to the Ministry of Pensions requesting payment of the same; and why none of those letters have received any answer?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONThere were peculiar circumstances in this case which accounted for the delay, and I am communicating with my hon. Friend regarding these. In the meantime, I am glad to say that the arrears owing have been paid.
