HC Deb 01 March 1922 vol 151 cc371-2
46. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Prime Minister whether he has seen the suggestion of M. Franklin Bouillon that a suitable solution of the Anglo-French detente over Turkey could be arrived at by the cession of Cyprus to Greece; and whether His Majesty's Government have considered that the restoration of Tunis to Turkey would also facilitate the desirable restoration of universal amity?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN (Leader of the House)

Neither suggestion commends itself to His Majesty's Government.
