Mr. YOUNGWith the hon. Member's, permission, I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT a statement containing the information asked for in the first part of the question. In reply to the second part of the question, partly as the outcome of representations made by the Reparation Commission, the German Government has submitted to the Reparation Commission a full statement on the subject of taxation in Germany and on the comparative burden of taxation in Germany, England and France in relation to taxable capacity. I understand that this statement is being carefully examined by the Reparation Commission.
