§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe position of the Irish peerage can only be altered by legislation. Legislative sanction will be sought in due course to deal with this matter in the light of the changes that will follow the final establishment of the Irish Free State. It is not, however, possible at this stage to indicate the nature of the changes which will be necessary.
