HC Deb 21 February 1922 vol 150 cc1698-9
20. Mr. BRIANT

asked the Secretary of State for War whether it is his intention to issue any memorandum commenting on the findings of the Geddes Committee?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

I have no present intention of issuing such a memorandum.

Mr. BRIANT

Is such a memorandum being prepared?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

I have said I have no present intention of issuing such a memorandum.

Captain BENN

Does that answer mean that the right hon. Gentleman accepts the findings of the Geddes Committee?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

It means exactly what I have said—that I have no present intention of issuing such a memorandum.

HON. MEMBERS

What about future intentions?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

As to that we must wait and see.
