§ The PRIME MINISTERI have no reason to think that the restrictions referred to will apply to cattle brought from the Free State, but the question as to whether legislation is necessary to remove any doubt on this point is now under consideration. In any case, the Minister of Agriculture's power to prohibit the landing of such cattle, should occasion arise, will not be affected.
