§ 68. Mr. RAPERasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether a letter has recently been addressed to Departments with regard to reduction of pay of temporary officials, other than graded 226 clerks, at present in receipt of inclusive salaries; and, if so, what are the precise terms of such letter?
Mr. YOUNGThe answer is in the negative. The remuneration of such officials is being reviewed individually by the Departments concerned, in consultation with the Treasury.
