HC Deb 11 April 1922 vol 153 cc227-8
55. Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether it is proposed to introduce a Revenue Bill this year?

Mr. YOUNG

I am not aware of any such intention.

Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

Are we to understand from that answer that the administrative recommendations of the Royal Commission on the Income Tax are not going to be carried out this year?

Mr. YOUNG

The intention, as to which my right hon. Friend has no knowledge, applies to that sphere of legislation also.
