§ Mr. BALDWINThe Spanish Government have recently introduced a Bill to enable them to reduce the present rates of customs duty on particular classes of goods in return for equivalent advantages to Spanish products. As already stated in the House, negotiations are at present proceeding for the conclusion of a commercial treaty between this country and Spain.
