HC Deb 06 April 1922 vol 152 c2429
86. Captain GEE

asked the Secretary of State for War if, in the interests of efficiency and economy, he will consider the advisability of abolishing the posts of G.S.O., 3 (E)?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

The necessity for retaining an officer of the Army Educational Corps at Command Headquarters has been most carefully considered and it has been decided that such a post is essential for the present. It will, however, no longer carry a staff grading.
