HC Deb 04 April 1922 vol 152 cc2009-10
27. Mr. WATERSON

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonios whether he is now in a position to state when the Irish Indemnity Bill will be introduced; and whether the proposed commission to inquire into the claims for compensation in respect of damage to property has yet been appointed?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I regret that I am not yet able to add anything to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member on the 28th March.

Mr. WATERSON

Will the right hon. Gentleman be able to do so this side of the Easter Recess?

Mr. CHURCHILL

Speaking at the present moment, I should say it would be rather unlikely.
