asked the Chief Secretary whether he is prepared to make any statement as to the success or failure of the Restoration of Order in Ireland Act?

In the opinion of the Government the Restoration of Order in Ireland Act and the Regulations made thereunder have been successful in the object for which they were intended, namely, in assisting the Irish Executive to combat the forces of disorder in that country.
