§ 24 Mr. C. WHITEasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies (1) when he will make a statement with regard to his visit to the Middle East and its results;
(2) whether he can make a statement with regard to the recent disturbances in Palestine?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLI would refer the hon. Member to the reply to the hon. Member for Acton on the 10th May. No further information on the subject is yet forthcoming, as the Commission of Inquiry has not yet produced its Report. I propose to make a general statement on the Middle East on Thursday next week.
