THOMASasked the Secretary for Scotland what is the amount contributed from local sources in Scotland to the income of each of the Scottish universities, and whether such amount is derived from local rates, and, if so, what is the rate, or from some other and what form of revenue; and whether any university in Scotland receives any rebate from the local rates as occupier of the university?
§ Mr. MORISONI would refer the hon. Member to the Returns from universities and university colleges in receipt of Treasury grant, 1919–20 (Cmd. 1263), which give the information he desires.
