Colonel NEWMAN(by Private Notice) asked the Attorney-General for Ireland whether he has any information with regard to the kidnapping of the Earl of Bandon by revolutionary bandits on Monday last?
§ Mr. HENRYI have not yet received a full report on this subject, but, according to the police report, Castle Bernard, the residence of the Earl of Bandon, was maliciously set on fire at 6.30 a.m. 1357 yesterday morning, and was completely destroyed. The furniture, silver, and contents of the library were saved by troops and Royal Irish Constabulary. Lord Bandon was kidnapped by the raiders, and, I much regret to say, up to the present it has not been possible to obtain any information as to his whereabouts.
