Captain O'GRADYasked the Home Secretary whether he can state when the provisions of the Shop Hours Act will come up for review; and whether, in view of the fact that the public regard the prohibition of the sale of chocolates in theatres after 8 p.m. as irritating and vexatious, he will see that this question will be reopened and representations received as to the inconvenience caused to the public by this Regulation?
§ Sir J. BAIRDI am afraid there will be no opportunity for any amending Bill this Session. The most that will be possible will be legislation to continue the existing arrangements for a further period.
