HC Deb 15 June 1921 vol 143 cc414-5
88. Mr. T. GRIFFITHS

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether his attention has been drawn to the case of applicants for allotments at Northill, Bedfordshire, where the clerk to the parish council has decided not to call a meeting of his council to consider the matter until July, therefore putting oft steps being taken to acquire the necessary land by Michaelmas next; whether a previous application in 1920 for 50 acres for allotments in the same parish has been proceeded with; and whether he will have inquiries made into this matter?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Sir Arthur Boscawen)

My attention had not been previously drawn to this case, but I will have inquiries made, and communicate the result to the hon. Member.
