HC Deb 09 June 1921 vol 142 cc2042-3
54. Sir W. BARTON

asked the Chief Secretary whether an inquiry has been held into the death at Coolcappagh, County Limerick, of Patrick O'Brien on the 22nd May; and what is its finding?

Sir H. GREENWOOD

This occurred in the martial law area, and I am informed by the Commander-in-Chief that the Court of Inquiry found that the death of this man was due to shock, hæmorrhage, and exposure following injuries received by misadventure, probably caused by falling into a trench.
