FOREMANasked the Prime Minister whether the Government proposes to introduce or to give any support to the suggested legislation for the recognition of Russian moneys, particularly since a number of British subjects had invested their savings in Russian currency and values, and are now absolutely destitute in view of the worthlessness of Russian roubles, of which they often hold large quantities?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI do not know to what suggested legislation my hon. Friend refers. There is no intention on the part of His Majesty's Government to introduce or support legislation giving an artificial value to Russian paper money.
