WHITEasked the Chief Secretary whether any official inquiry has been held into the alleged theft of goods from the shops of Mr. Robert Campbell and Mrs. Clarke, of Roscommon, on the 15th of October last; is he aware that compensation, amounting in all to £1,083, was awarded by Judge Wakeley at Roscommon County Sessions, at which it was stated that the looting was done by members of the Crown forces; and whether any arrests have been made in connection with these cases?
