HC Deb 28 February 1921 vol 138 c1428
Sir D. MACLEAN

May I ask the Leader of the House whether, in view of the delay in production of Government Bills, the Government have considered the Report of the Committee which was set up to inquire into the increase of rates occasioned by legislation, and if so what, action they propose to take?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I have examined the recommendations of the Committee and I think it would be desirable to adopt them. I am having inquiry made as to the steps which it would be necessary to take for that purpose.
