asked the Prime Minister whether it is intended to adopt all or any of the recommendations of the Select Committee on Business Premises; and, if so, whether he will consider the necessity of passing any Bill founded thereon before the expiration of the existing statutory protection of business premises?

The PRIME MINISTER

The Government have decided not to introduce any legislation on this subject and to allow the existing legislation to expire on the date mentioned in the Act.
