Mr. SPEAKER informed the House that he had received the following letter relating to the arrest and imprisonment of a Member:—

Sir,—I have the honour to inform you by direction of the Lord Lieutenant that Mr. J. J. Clancy, M.P., has been arrested under the powers conferred by the Restoration of Order in Ireland Regulations, and committed to Sligo Prison.
