Member a copy. The local education authorities are now engaged in con sidering the Report in the light of that correspondence.

THORNEIn the event of a number of the education authorities putting the Burnham Report into operation in regard to teachers' salaries, is the Board of Education prepared to assist them, on account of the extraordinary extra expenditure which they will have to incur through raising the teachers' salaries?
