HC Deb 20 April 1921 vol 140 c1882
101. Lieut.-Colonel GUINNESS

asked the Minister of Transport what proportion of the yield of the Motor Tax will be allotted to Ireland?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of TRANSPORT (Mr. Neal)

The Government propose that the net proceeds of the new licensing and registration duties levied in Ireland, though at present paid into the Road Fund, should-be set aside for eventual transfer to the Governments of North and South Ireland respectively.
