HC Deb 19 April 1921 vol 140 c1712
49. Mr. MILLS

asked the Prime Minister whether he can say when the House will have an opportunity of discussing our policy with regard to Egypt?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I do not think that it would be desirable to have a Debate in this House in advance of the discussions that it is hoped will take place with the Egyptian Delegation which the Sultan has been invited to send to this country.

Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

Has any reply been received as to when the delegation is coming?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I do not think a date has yet been fixed, but I should like notice of the question.
