asked the Prime Minister which of the Allied countries and which of the Dominions have passed legislation similar to the German Reparation (Recovery) Act?

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answers which I gave on the 4th April last to questions by the hon. Members for East Edinburgh (Mr. Hogge) and West Derbyshire (Mr. C. White), to which there is nothing to add.

Mr. HOGGE

Can the right hon. Gentleman say if the matter has got any further?

The PRIME MINISTER

I cannot say.

38. Major WOOD

asked the Prime Minister whether any agreement has been made with France as to the sanctions to be applied to Germany in the event of Germany's default in respect of reparation on 1st May?

The PRIME MINISTER

The answer is in the negative.

Major WOOD

Will the right hon. Gentleman give an undertaking that no further occupation of any part of Germany will take place until this House has been consulted?
