asked the Secretary to the Treasury the number of printing establishments owned and controlled by Government Departments; where they are situated; the number of persons employed at the same; if any female labour is employed and the number; and what is the general kind of printing work done at such establishments?

In addition to the above, the following printing presses are controlled by other Government Departments:

Metropolitan Police Scotland Yard Police Gazette and miscellaneous work required by the Department.
War Office Woolwich Arsenal Ordnance Committee Reports and jobbing printing required for Ordnance Factory Department, 52 persons employed, no female labour.
War Office School of Military Engineering, Chatham. Miscellaneous urgent work not of an elaborate nature
Ordnance Survey Department. Southampton Ordnance Survey Maps.
Victoria and Albert Museum. South Kensington Museum labels, etc.
