§ 46. Mr. LYLEasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the attempt by the ex-Emperor Karl to recover the crown of Hungary, he is ascertaining whether the supervision of the ex-Kaiser Wilhelm by the Dutch authorities is so thorough as to render any attempt by him to re-enter Germany out of the question; 446 and what steps the Allies propose to take to check the ex-Emperor Karl's activities in the future.
§ Sir P. LLOYD-GREAMEHis Majesty's Government see no reason to question the efficacy of the guarantees given by the Netherlands Government for the safety of the ex-Emperor William.
