§ Mr. FISHERThe number of members of the Governor-General's Executive Council was increased to eight in July, under the provisions of Section 28 of the Government of India Act of last year The opportunity was then taken to appoint a member in charge of the development 1713 of industries. The ultimate constitution of the department which he now administers is not yet settled.
