HC Deb 21 October 1920 vol 133 c1084
Mr. TREVELYAN THOMSON (by Private Notice)

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that a large number of dwelling houses are still kept unoccupied in the country, and when he proposes to take the Second Reading and remaining stages of the Ministry of Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, which gives local authorities power to compulsorily acquire such unoccupied dwellings?

The MINISTER of HEALTH (Dr. Addison)

I am aware of the difficulty to which my hon. Friend refers. I hope that it will be possible to proceed with the Ministry of Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill at an early date.

Mr. THOMSON

Does that mean this Session?

Dr. ADDISON

Yes.
