§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of MUNITIONS (Mr. James Hope)The headquarters staff of the Ministry numbered 4,585 on the 1st July last, and 3,516 on the 1st instant. The present total is 3,261, which represents a reduction of 1,324 since the 1st 911 July last, and of 21,883 since the Armistice.
§ Mr. KILEYDoes that number include those who are engaged in factories which have not yet been handed over to the Disposal Board?
§ Mr. HOPENo factories, properly so called, are now run by the Ministry of Munitions. There are a number of stores, but I cannot give the number without notice.
