HC Deb 20 October 1920 vol 133 c913
27. Mr. GILBERT

asked the Minister of Transport whether the South Eastern and Chatham Railway Company propose to re-open and work the railway service on the Victoria to City line, which service is badly wanted to relieve the overcrowding which now exists on all passenger services in South London?

Mr. NEAL

An experimental service between Brixton and Ludgate Hill, calling at Loughborough Junction and Elephant and Castle stations, was introduced by the South Eastern and Chatham Railway on the 4th instant.
