HC Deb 22 November 1920 vol 135 cc17-8
70. Dr. MURRAY

asked the Prime Minister whether he can make any statement as to the composition and objects of the voluntary army under General Bahalovich; and whether this general is receiving any assistance either in money or supplies from the Government or any other of the Allies?

The PRIME MINISTER

The voluntary army of General Bahalovich is chiefly composed of deserters from the Red Army. General Bahalovich has proclaimed his object to be the establishment of a White Russian Republic. He is receiving no assistance of any kind from His Majesty's Government, or, so far as I am aware, from any of the Allies.
