§ The PRIME MINISTERThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. Consignments including 25,000 rifles, 1,000 tons of oil fuel, and various kinds of munitions have been despatched by His Majesty's Government to Armenia. A further consignment had been sanctioned at the beginning of the present month, but the sudden collapse of Armenia has rendered its despatch undesirable.
Sir J. D. REESWould the right hon. Gentleman say what particular claim the Armenian has upon the British taxpayer, and when demands on his behalf will cease?
