Major BARNESasked the Prime Minister whether he can now say whether Japan objects to China appointing delegates to the League of Nations, suggesting that the Japanese delegates would represent China; and, if so, whether this is the reason why China has taken no definite steps in the matter of appointing representatives to the Assembly of the League of Nations?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI have not heard of any such suggestion. I understand that China is represented in the League by delegates now at Geneva.
