Lords Amendments considered.

The CHAIRMAN of WAYS and MEANS (Mr. Whitley)

On this Bill there are a number of quite, formal Amendments come down from the other House, but there is one particular Amendment that is protested by some hon. Members. I presume, Sir, that following the usual practice we will take the first two Amendments, and if the House will agree to those covering the Amendments down to Clause 41, that will leave the field open for hon. Members to proceed with their Motion.
