asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the total amount of ninety-day British Treasury Bills issued in the United States of America; and if the amount has been reduced during the last 12 months?

Mr. BALDWIN

The maximum amount of British Government dollar Treasury Bills outstanding at any moment in the United States of America was $98,005,000 on 30th September, 1919. The total, which varies from day to day,was $31,540,000 on 8th November, 1920, and will very shortly be reduced to $20,000,000.
